Beverley Shim

Bev began her career as a makeup artist in 2007 and continued in the field until 2021. In 2019, she discovered her passion for Ombre Powder Brows, which led her to transition fully into the world of Semi-Permanent Makeup (SPMU). From 2021 onward, she made the decision to focus exclusively on SPMU, discontinuing her makeup services entirely

Her extensive background in makeup provided a strong foundation for her SPMU career, equipping her with valuable skills in customer service, beauty expertise, and managing client expectations.

Awards & Achievements

Beverley Shim has earned global recognition as Malaysia's representative at the prestigious World Universal League of Permanent Makeup (Wulop) competition, held in Antalya, Turkey, on October 22, 2024.

In August, she was crowned Wulop Malaysia Champion, marking a significant milestone in her career. Competing against the world’s best, Beverley’s passion for artistry and dedication to empowering others through beauty have been the driving forces behind her success.

Her journey in the beauty industry has been highlighted by a series of impressive accolades. The pride of Sabah, Beverley first represented Malaysia at the 2018 NYX Face Awards and went on to compete in the 2019 MMA Awards, where her stunning makeup artistry and creativity earned her the title of champion.

Her success in these prestigious competitions, coupled with her achievements at Wulop, not only reflects her hard work and dedication but also showcases her extraordinary talent, solidifying her position as one of the top beauty professionals in the industry.
