How to take care of my Ombre Powder Brows?

There are many after-care steps but I would like to highlight a few main ones for you to remember prior to your appointment. Do keep in mind the steps may vary depending on your artist but these are pretty standard in my opinion.

FIRST

Keep the brow area dry for at least 24 hours after the procedure. Any moisture will impede the pigment from developing under the skin and you may end up with very light color healed brows. How do I wash my face then, you ask. You can use a face towel to wash your face for the first day. The following days until your brows are fully healed, feel free to wash your face like usual but do not rub any products or water on the brow area.

SECOND

Avoid any kind of brow treatment like brow lamination or makeup on the brow area. Remember it is like an open wound and you need to keep the brows area clear from any contaminants.

THIRD

Do not pick on your scabs. While it is going through the ‘ugly phase’ the brows will start to scab and you will undoubtedly be tempted to pick at it. Just remember if you pick at it, the pigment on that area will appear lighter than the rest of the brows.
